Jennette McCurdy recently bought her first home and showed a tour of some of her favorite parts of the house. She loves the look out through the front door and one of her other favorite rooms is her Tea Room. You can view all the pictures below or in the photo gallery:

On June 15th, 2013, Jennette McCurdy has expanded her social network connections and joined ask.fm as Askmccurdy. News broke when she tweeted her answer (now deleted) to the following question:

If you could have anything you want for dinner tonight, what would you have?

hamburger and fries!

It’s unclear if Jennette will continue answering questions or not, so be sure to check back by following her official ask.fm account today.

The double spinoff series, Sam and Cat, has shown an early success by bringing in 4.2 million total viewers tuned into the June 8 premiere on Nickelodeon. The following day resulted in Sam and Cat becoming the top downloaded episode in the TV episodes in the iTunes store.

The executive producer of the show, Dan Schneider, both tweeted his excitement and posted excited ratings news on his blog.

Despite strong counter-programming directly against us, the debut of Sam & Cat broke the 4 million barrier… with 4.2 million total viewers!

It was Nickelodeon biggest live-action launch in the past THREE YEARS.

And it was Nickelodeon’s biggest live-action launch in TEN YEARS, if you don’t count launches that followed the Kids’ Choice Awards or an iCarly TV special.

In other words, Sam & Cat’s ratings come without the help of a powerful lead-in!!!

Sam & Cat swept kid, tween and teen demos as number-one on Saturday, June 8th, among Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Tweens 9-14, and Teens 12-17. Among its target audience, the show raised last year’s levels by triple digits and handily beat direct competition by high double digits.

By Sunday morning, Sam & Cat hit the #1 spot on all of iTunes! That’s not just for Kids TV… but for all TV shows on iTunes…

On June 12th, 2013, Jennette McCurdy arrived at NBC to be a guest star on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for the first time. However, they previously had met and random danced together during a special iCarly episode, iShock America, on the previous year.

It was a special interview for Jennette because she had loved him ever since she was six years old. During the show, Jennette mentioned that she still hangs with Miranda Cosgrove regularly (3 times a week on average). She talks about her future plans for her 21st birthday which involved renting a party bus with her friends and travel to Las Vegas. Jennette also mentioned that she plans to check out many Cirque Du Soleil shows, including the brand new Michael Jackson ONE show. She also shared a story of her encounter with Tina Fey, which unfortunately could not have met her during the Kids Choice Awards. Towards the end of the show, they talked about her successful double spinoff show Sam & Cat and showed a preview from the pilot episode.

Jimmy also selected some of Jennette’s tweets to read aloud to the audience which he said made him laugh.

Every time “sounds good” autocorrects to “sounds food” I leave it because food is better than good.

Whenever I hear something rustle in my bedroom I go, “Narnia?”

You played Sam on iCarly for five years basically growing up in the eyes of your fans. What has that experience been like for you?
My fans have been loyal and supportive for so long. They’ve grown with me. It’s been awesome to have such excited, present fans.

What attracted you to Sam and what is it like taking her into a new show, Sam & Cat?
I love Sam’s confidence and sense of humor, and the fact that she’s a strong, independent girl. She’s cool and a little rough around the edges. The biggest difference for Sam between iCarly and Sam & Cat is the characters she’s interacting with. On Sam & Cat, a lot of the characters are broader, so Sam is more even-keel and relatable.

Tell us about Sam & Cat, how will it be different than iCarly even though the characters remain?
Sam & Cat is like Laverne and Shirley for a younger crowd. It’s two polar opposite girls who are crazy in their own ways. Put them together and you have a really funny, dynamic buddy comedy.

Outside of acting, we heard you want to finish film school. Is that still a dream of yours?
I’d love to go to film school perhaps, or maybe study something completely outside of entertainment. College is still something that interests me, but right now working on the show, it’s not an option.

You are super active in your every day life. What are some of your favorite activities to do when you are not working?
I go to circus school sometimes, which is a really unique, fun way to get exercise! That’s what works best for me, doing an activity that is exciting and never monotonous. Sometimes I’ll go on hikes around LA, or go to cyclelates classes (mixture of cycling and Pilates). I like to change it up.

You have a strong fan base and a huge online following. How important is it to you to connect with your fans via social media?
So important. I have a love-hate relationship with social media in general, because it can get addicting. As long as I monitor myself, I feel good about it. Staying in touch with my fans is both rewarding and informative. They support me so I want to support them and give them content and entertainment in the ways that they will be most receptive to. Staying connected allows me to do that. Not to mention, my fans are hilarious and always puts me in a good mood.

For red carpet events, what are your favorite go-to designers? What would we find in your personal closet for everyday wear?
Miu Miu or Jimmy Choo for shoes! Alice + Olivia, Rebecca Taylor, BCBG. I love taking dresses that I like the basic structure of and getting them tailored into something different. I saw a beautiful royal blue dress, got the cap sleeves cut off, and wore that to the 2013 KCA’s. I got a super cute purple and blue striped Kate Spade dress shortened 6 inches so it looks like a cute, full, minidress. As for my closet, I love Vince and James Perse for tops – the cuts and textures are amazing. I adore Frankie B for pants – the butt pockets are always in the perfect place, that’s the secret to perfect jeans! I also like James Jeans, Wildfox for comfort, Marc Jacobs wedge sneakers, All Saints boots.

We are excited to see the new show Sam & Cat. What other projects do you have coming up?
I’m in a new Nick movie called Swindle, an animated film called Almost Heroes, and I’m partnering with Birdseye for a campaign urging kids to eat healthier.

Early June 10th, 2013, Jennette McCurdy tweeted that she was on her way to New York, but didn’t specify a purpose. A few hours later, one of her fans named Jalon shared news about the event along with the following photo of an upcoming Jimmy Fallon episode guest starring Jennette McCurdy.

It was later confirmed that she will be guest starring with NJ governor Chris Christie, Mario, Benno and Leo Batali. on the official episode guide of NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

The episode will be airing on the following dates:

Wednesday, June 12th at 11:35 P.M. CST
Thursday, June 13th at 12:37 A.M. PST

On June 9th, 2013, (around 2:20 PST), Jennette McCurdy’s official Facebook page reached over 5 million likes. She shared her excitement via her Twitter and Facebook accounts with an announcement that she passed half a million on her Instagram account.
