Happy 21st Birthday Jennette McCurdy

Posted on June 26, 2013

Today is a very special day for Jennette McCurdy. She has officially turned 21 on June 26, 2013. Below you can see her last tweet as a 20-year-old:

Going to bed 20. Waking up 21 :)

In celebration around midnight PST, her fans were able to achieve #HappyBirthdayJennette as the top worldwide trending topic. The following morning, she retweeted and replied to her best friend Miranda Cosgrove, which also was her first tweet being 21.

@MirandaCosgrove thank you so much, Cosmos! I love you!!

Jennette created the following Vine video to the tune of Taylor Swift – 22:

She then tweeted what she would like for her birthday:

Birthday wish list: ice cream, brownies, teddy bears, jewelry, trip to Paris, vanilla lotion, unlimited licorice, & a butler named Jeeves.

It’s my birthday. If someone doesn’t get me a kiss from Ryan Gosling, I’m gonna cry.

Jennette also shares the same day with Ariana Grande, who turned 20. The two exchanged birthday wishes via Twitter:

Happy birthday @ArianaGrande! We have been through it all, haven’t we? Canada, lobster pic, thom, fisherman hats, almost s’mores…pooply

Want to wish @jennettemccurdy, one of my favorite to ever exist, a happy birthday. Honored to share this day of birth with you. #jodyposture

This year also marks a special event. Jennette wanted to give back to St Jude, an organization which their mission is to find cures and save children battling cancer and other deadly diseases. Thanks to her generosity, Jennette has already exceeded the set goal of $1,500 and have nearly doubled by raising over $2,500! There’s still time to contribute and be part of Jennette’s birthday fundraiser by visiting and sharing her tribute page here: bit.ly/stjjennette

Below is a special thank you message written by Jennette herself:

Thank you guys for donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! I know it takes time to click on a link, read a webpage, and fill out all the annoying credit card info. But you all did it! To help such a good cause! You’re making a difference in the lives of St. Jude Kids, and I hope you all give yourselves a nice pat on the back for that. Thank you again for making my birthday wish come true, and then some…

Both Jennette and Ariana also celebrated their birthdays together on the set of Sam and Cat. Check out the photos below:
