Colleen Ballinger, more commonly known as Miranda Sings, sat down with Jennette McCurdy for an interview and tweeted by the official Miranda Sings twitter account on August 9th, 2012. Below are the questions Jennette answered and also includes her sound advice on dealing with haters.
Miranda: I have special guest Jennette McCurdy from the show iCarly on Nickelodeon.
Jennette: I like your lip color, it’s pretty nice.
Miranda: Thank you, me too, I love it.. you’re not really wearing any lip stick.
Jennette: No I’m not because my lips are already has such a luscious color on right now.
Miranda: Well.. agree to disagree.
Miranda: So let’s go ahead and do the first question now, so, what’s your favorite color?
Jennette: I’d say purple, I really think it’s great. Um..
Miranda: You know that’s enough, you don’t have to keep going.
Miranda: What is your favorite holiday?
Jennette: Oh, hands down Christmas. You know why? Cause Santa is involved.
Miranda: Well I do love Santa Claus, I like sitting on his lap.
Jennette: Who doesn’t love a man with a beard who gives you toys, who you don’t know, who has small people working for him.
Miranda: That’s pretty similar to my uncle so I really like him a lot.
Miranda: So how is it working on a TV show?
Jennette: It’s great, it’s a lot of fun. I wear mismatched socks everyday just like I’m wearing now.
Miranda: That’s a little bit unprofessional in my opinion.
Miranda: Your character on iCarly is a sinner because she does things like goes to juvenile hall and she’s rude. Do you have to beg for forgiveness every night when you go to bed or to Jesus?
Jennette: No, I’m just hoping for the best.
Miranda: Ok well you can’t hope, you have to do. That’s what the Bible says.
Miranda: I get hate mail every single day so you can see what have I go through. I’m going to make you read it.
Jennette: “Hey you know what, you are a *beeep* re-a-tard and your lips are ugly just like your face. Suck it up.” it’s from Sid Scissors in case you want to know. Here’s the thing about haters, Miranda. Let me tell you about haters. They give you just as much attention as people who love you, so really at the end of the day it’s like you can just say: “Thanks, peace”.
Miranda: I know, I just say “you’re just jealous”
Jennette: Yeah, hair.. hair stroke.
