Jennette McCurdy, Nathan Kress, and Ariana Grande are teaming up in support of Math-A-Thon which is a free, education-based fundraising program for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. For more than 30 years, Math-A-Thon has been America’s largest education-based fundraiser. The funds raised by students will benefit St. Jude, where doctors and scientists work to find cures for childhood cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.
There’s also a contest open for students. Students can participate by helping their school raise at least $1,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. On April 30, 2012, one lucky student from each of two winning schools will be selected for an all-expense paid trip to Hollywood, California to visit the Nickelodeon Studios to see a live taping of one of their shows.
