Update on Jennette McCurdy’s album

Posted on January 14, 2012

Jennette McCurdy confirmed recently that her album will be released exclusively in Justice stores (clothing department stores for girls). Justice stores have a partnership which is why they are selling Jennette’s album before releasing to other stores.

Below is the interview by Jessica Norton at the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Base in New Jersey on January 12th, 2012.

Her album will contain 7 tracks (not 10 as previously mentioned in a ClevverTV interview) and they are primarily up-tempo. Jennette really wants to see the cover songs on Youtube, so she will be on the lookout and possibly comment and share it with other fans.

Jennette also revealed that she will be returning to the iCarly set for a new season in about a week and a half with more exciting guests along with, according to Jennette will contain “really fantastic storylines”

  1. She said her album there (as in at justice) would have 7 tracks in be more uptempo that would suite there clientele. I think album released later will have more tracks and variety

  2. Only 7 tracks now instead of 10? That’s practically another EP…..not a full length album. I’d like to know what’s going on between Capitol Nashville and Jennette (even though I’ll probably never find out). It seems to me that Jennette herself doesn’t seem to know what’s going on with her debut album, with the numerous false release dates, tracklisting changes, etc. One more thing, if the album’s supposed to release by next month, where is the official tracklisting? Oh well, it’ll probably be good as

  3. all her other music in which she’s released in the past! She has such a nice voice!
