The official Springs Spree facebook page posted this after hearing about her concert cancellation.

“We have just been informed and are sincerely sorry to announce that Jennette McCurdy will have to cancel her appearance for Springs Spree among all other current engagements due to circumstances of a close family member with a serious illness. We look forward to rescheduling the young & talented singer/actress in the future. We are all wishing Jennette the best and will keep her family in our prayers.”

If you’re still planning on going or are in the Colorado Springs area, you can stop by the information booth at the Springs Spree event to sign a “Generation Of Love” banner for the McCurdy family. For doing so, everyone will have the opportunity to register to win a few autographed items as a special gift from Jennette.
